Hello!
I am Woo-mi Lee from Korea, the founder of Aurora Pin.
It's truly a pleasure to connect with you all. Before getting married, I worked as a web designer and later devoted 15 years to being a full-time homemaker. Throughout that time, I continuously sought opportunities, studying diligently and searching for jobs. But the responsibilities of childcare and caring for my ailing parents often made this journey difficult.
The idea for online sales came to me through a friend whose husband runs a hair clip manufacturing factory in Korea. When choosing a brand name for my product, I recalled a session from a class I took years ago, where everyone shared their dreams. I remembered that one of my dreams was to witness the Aurora someday. Merging this dream with the concept of hairpins, I decided on the brand name "Aurora Pin."
Starting this business with limited capital and without any previous experience was undeniably challenging. However, with the support of friends who volunteered as models and assistance from various startup organizations, I persevered with all my heart and sincerity.
I am profoundly grateful every day for the opportunity to introduce my products to customers in the U.S.
